I agree with your sentiments, however the tagline on the website
makes it sound like a social/emotional support for people who get
beat up, themselves, either by their job or the technology.

Possibly a tagline that is not focused on emotional support would
be more appropriate?  FWIW, there will always be hecklers and naysayers,
so keep your optimism but shield it with great fortitude.  :)

I was asking all those questions to help the reading audience differentiate
what
makes that group different from this one.  It would be silly to say, "bring
your
preconceived notions and techno-bigotry", of course.  If people thought
about
that in any part of their daily lives, the world would be a better place,
yes.
I *will* offer constructive questions, but it'll cost ya!!  ;)
