It's configured for my monitor and quite frankly my CRTs kick
some arse.

Make your monitor section look similar to this:

Section "Monitor"
        Identifier   "Monitor0"
        VendorName   "OMG Monitor"
        ModelName    "whatever the heck you want here"
        HorizSync    30.0 - 81.0 (use the numbers below)
        VertRefresh  56.0 - 75.0 (instead of these)
        Option      "dpms"
