I'd have to say Woot has special status. First rules of
engagement when you get it is "you figure it out". If it doesn't
work try the manufacturers site. If that doesn't work check the
forums. If it really is broken and you can't get the
manufacturer to fix it then you can RMA it via Woot.

As for checking BBB against software, I don't blame you. Even
then I'd still be cautious. My favorite AV is still "format C:".
