Why would you want that? Then people might switch away from Windows!!! Keep in 
mind the number of people that Dell employs for "technical support". If the 
number of Linux users increases, Dell will stand to lose money made on tech 
support calls. If for no other reason than a lack of viri on linux platforms. 

Sad that they didn't take the driver situation more seriously. I configured a 
"dream machine" on Dell's? Ubuntu laptop site, I upgraded every option 
available, 2.2 Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo, 4 gigs of DDR2 800, but when I got to the 
video card section, I was restricted to some rinky-dink Intel integrated video 
card as the only option????? I could have sworn I heard one of the mikes brag 
about how easy it was to set up their ATI card? with Ubuntu at one of our 
meetings. With that being said, why wouldn't Dell offer at least an ATI card? 
And what's this 14.1 inch screen restriction? I like Mr. O's but I think I'd 
like to have at least a 15.4 inch display.
