make dvds now and even though I UN installed IE7 bug still there (and
I bet so is IE7uninstall just hides shortcuts ).I hate windows
(clinched teeth and fist) Anyway I always turn to a real OS for help
and that is Ubuntu :) just the name makes me smile again. My camera
makes AVIs .I was wondering if anyone makes similar DVDs from a
program in Ubuntu that uses AVIs that can make menu with background
PIC/sound and different titles?
Thanks in advance keep that Linux smile :)
I've used devede in the past to create DVDs. I know it does menus with a
background. Not sure on sounds as I'm away from that machine at the
moment. It's very simple and will convert from about any format. The
only issue I've seen is that converting from avi to DVD the disk
capacity estimation is always off. Converting from MPEG to a DVD it's
always dead on. The UI is a bit funky, but I figured it out in a few
minutes.
