So, I have this X61 tablet running Vista Home Premium. Before I wipe it and
load up... anything else, I'd like to have a set of restore disks so I know
I can get it back to "factory" if I ever decide to sell it or what have you.
I've used the Lenovo utility to create the disks, and it thinks everything
went ok, but the disks don't actually work. The first boot disk starts the
machine, and part way through booting it mysteriously gives up and reboots.
It will do this indefinitely. I tried creating another set, but of course,
the utility won't let me because my license only allows me to create one...
Great. Tried a different optical drive and got the same results...

I know at least some of you out there have similar machines. Have you
created a set of recovery disks? If so, have you tested them? If they work,
can I borrow them to see if they might work on my machine?

Thanks!
