I drove a few extra miles tonight so I could watch my odometer flip past the 10,000 electric mile mark. I was right beside the 720 Megawatt Fort St. Vrain Power plant near Platteville, Colorado where my "fuel" comes from when it happened.
For those of you who are considering electric vehicle ownership, I must ask: What are you waiting for? I've owned lots of cool vehicles in my life, but none compare to this trusty electric when it comes to sheer pride of ownership. My range remains good. I did 48 miles tonight. I did 54 the other day. If that kind of range sounds good enough for you under normal city/rural driving conditions than you should take the plunge, too! I'm glad I did! -Dave Stensland Mead, Colorado '92 Mazda B2600 extended cab, 144V, 24 Trojan T-125, Raptor 600, NetGain WarP-9" '01 Toyota Prius
