Once again, I turn to the all-knowing EVList members for advice on an
EV purchase!

I've just discovered a '74 Fiat, converted in the '70s, for sale. It's
running on a 36V generator with a 48V pack of floodeds, with a voltage
switching controller setup.

The body looks good, from what I've seen in the pictures. It drives
well, and I had a nice conversation with the owner, who's got many
ideas about improving it.

Would this be a wise purchase for a beginning EV-ite? Seems to me,
that I could use it to get my EV grin on while I work on converting my
Civic. All the while saving my Insight from the rough city miles.

Any advice? Although old, the conversion does look clean. Any ideas
on what kind of upgrades I could do? How about throwing some of my
Optimas in there, with a 9" ADC or NetGain and a Raptor? Hmmmm.

Thanks!

Matt
