That's exactly what I've done and there's a story
in the Santa Rosa Press Democrat today (Wed.) as a result.
It starts
"Nick Carter has never owned a car, but he wants
to sell one to you. The problem is, the car he'd like
you to be driving is darn near impossible to buy."
It goes on to talk about our Th!nk and the EV1, EV+
RAV4, ZEV mandate, etc. The journalist who wrote the
piece drove our Th!nk, like it, and was very receptive.

IMHO the only way we can counter the misinformation put out
by the auto manufacturers is to get stories like
this out there as well as educating the people who stop
by the car every day with the "how far, how fast, etc." questions.

Our chapter of the EAA is exhibiting at the local
American Lung Association "Blow the whistle on asthma" walk
this weekend and I see that as another important collaboration.
Children are suffering and dying from asthma and there is a
direct link between asthma and vehicle pollution.
We need to reach those parents who think it is normal
to drive to soccer practice in an SUV with their
kids clutching their inhalers. Well, duh!

End rant.
Happy EV'ing,
Nick
