2.25" ID is a standard racing spring size and 8" a common length. Race shops 
often have a large stock of second hand springs and will sometimes trade 
springs for little or no fee. I would expect to pay between �7 and �35 (times 
~1.5 for USD) for new springs depending on rate in the UK (80-1000lb per 
inch).
