It's a Zivan NG3 charger, so the last (3rd) stage of charging is "fry the 
batteries".  2A at whatever voltage it takes.  That's why I have RR MKII"s 
installed.  It seems that the NG3 never made it to the 3rd stage.  I don't 
remember if 188 (or so) volts is the correct value for the constant voltage 
state (2nd) or not.

Could be. Don't know.  It has only happened on the "warmer" days when it 
got up to 70 or so outside.

Quite difficult, and I don't have any handy.

Next time I see it happening, I'll try to check the battery voltages.  So 
far I've caught it twice, both at times when I couldn't take the time for a 
good diagnosis.
