Not if the isolation were provided by a transformer operating at the
switching frequency instead of line frequency.  Sure, the charger would
still get bigger and heavier, but not by nearly as much as you suggest.

Something you and Rich might consider down the road is that it is likely
that most customers have a single EV to charge, not a fleet of wildly
varying EVs, and will want to mount their PFCxx onboard this single EV;
for those users, including the HF isolation transformer even if it meant
changing the topology so that the super-wide output voltage range had to
be restricted (e.g. 12-96V, 80-156V, 144-400V models) would probably be
a more than acceptable tradeoff.

It sounds like demand presently exceeds supply, but at some point you
may want to address the portion of the market represented by those
unwilling to purchase a PFCxx simply because it lacks isolation (and
rightfully opposed to the use of a heavy line frequency isolation
transformer with an onboard charger).
