Please tell me you are not suggesting the old "windmill on the roof to 
charge while your driving" bit?

Doesn't work, the extra drag from the windmill (regardless of where you 
put it) adds up to more energy than it produces.

Now if you put one in the trunk and set it up in a windy spot while you 
are parked....shoot in two or three days you'll be able to drive another 
30 miles.
