And that's the sad truth. Solectria's 373 mile drive on one charge from
Boston to NYC was completely ignored by the media. What's needed is some
event or "stunt" that somehow captures the minds of the public, like
Lindbergh's crossing of the Atlantic.

In this mind-numbed, over-entertained society, I hate to think what it
would take. David Letterman murdering Britney Spears, making his getaway
in an EV1, and outrunning and outdistancing the Police while being
watched by television cameras in helicopters?
