Thanks Donald for the update/correction,
the Canadian and European newswires I read must have used 100 miles as
the stated range. Looking at:

Battery         16 kWh / 58 MJ (Li-ion battery)
Range   160 km (99 mi) (Japanese cycle)
100 km (62 mi) (US EPA cycle)

I can see how that misinformation got used (100km was stated in the
newswire as 100 miles).

I still think/wish Mitsubishi or an authorized aftermarket/OEM should
offer a larger pack option to consumers that would bring the iMiev range
up to 100 miles (160km) @65mph (105kph).
