It is probably regional. This was for the supercharger near my house. According 
to what I read Tesla charges whatever the local rate is for electricity. Around 
here it is .10 a kilowatt hr. It may be more in other locations based on 
utility rates. I looked again and sent a picture my car says $8.10 which would 
be 0.108 cents a kilowatt hr.

Here's another way Tesla's or for that matter, anything, gets misaligned... 
somebody just repeats what somebody else told them. And in this case according 
to 
a latter post by Paul who has a Tesla - "My car says I can supercharge for 8 
and 
change it's less than $9 for 75kw so that is like 11 cents a kilowatt."
