Greg Dolphin, a 45-year-old father of two, was killed on August 13, 2017, after Morehouse slammed into him at an intersection on Scottsdale Road while he sat on his bike, waiting for a red light. Morehouse had just hit an SUV in her red 2014 Tesla S85 on Scottsdale Road after driving in the wrong lanes. Instead of stopping, she jetted off at an estimated speed of more than 100 mph. Investigators later determined she was going 84 when she hit Dolphin and his motorcycle. A blood test recorded a .355 percent BAC, more than four times the legal limit. Morehouse was disbarred earlier this year for unprofessional conduct related to the crash. She pleaded guilty in November to second-degree murder, records show. Dolphin was a British citizen and land surveyor who moved to Arizona and was a "well-liked leader in the local surveying community," according to a Fox 10 (KSAZ-TV) News article just after the crash.
