There is a lot of discussion of this over on the Bolt forum. One of the threads is at: https://www.chevybolt.org/threads/leaving-the-car-on-for-extended-period-or- accessory-position.35412/
Basically it says sit in the passenger seat, use a stick to slightly press the brake pedal and turn the car on. Set the emergency brake and put the car in neutral. Exit via the passenger door and the car should stay on until the battery pack is depleted. There might be variations on this behavior for different year Bolts. How long will the Bolt remain in the ON condition so you can draw power from its 12v battery while it replenishes it from its HV battery and DC/DC converter?
