Besides cheap NEMA plugs overheating, a NEMA 14-50 plug (especially an angled one) is very easy to get your fingers across the 240V while unplugging. Not a big deal on a stove that gets plugged in and left there, but a problem with a EV charger that gets unplugged every day.
