We're currently serving about 500GB of data with our intranet. I only know it's Plone 2.1 with (I believe) ATManagedFile for filesystem support and a few other addons. In a few weeks I have to move it to another server and get it up to Plone 3, so then I can see how plone.app.blob will perform.

Sasha recently wrote a blog post about large repositories of data being served up from Plone using plone.app.blob. http://valentinewebsystems.com/en/blog/plone-powers-50gb-of-environmental-data We're currently working on a project to build a digital asset management system using Plone, which will be serving terabytes of data.
