Wait... I read the model number wrong. Ours are ZD421, in case that makes a difference.

This email came from outside our organization. Do NOT click unknown attachments or links in email.] Possibly not relevant, but maybe a good thing to know... we need to do some special settings in the drivers for those to be able to print from the OCLC Connexion client, to get it to behave as expected. There a lot of settings that have an additional flag that essentially means "use setting saved in printer" vs "use setting in driver". (Can't remember the wording, and don't have one or our docs in front of me now.) We need to set all of those to "use printer settings", else OCLC spits out blanks for labels. It prints spine labels for us fine in Evergreen too, but since we need those settings for OCLC, they are also in play when we're printing from Evergreen. I haven't tried printing to it from Evergreen without those settings, that I can remember. -Jeremy -------------------------------------- Jeremiah Miller | 541-619-8285 (cell) Sysadmin | Albany Public Library -------------------------------------- ________________________________________ From: Terran McCanna via Evergreen-general <[email protected]> Sent: Thursday, February 5, 2026 10:23 AM To: Clare Irwin Cc: Evergreen Discussion Group; Terran McCanna Subject: [Evergreen-general] Re: Setting up Zebra ZD411t printer with Evergreen for spine labels [WARNING! You can try adding spacing in the "Item Print Label - Inline CSS field like this: .spine {padding-top: 20px;} On Thu, Feb 5, 2026 at 12:49 PM Clare Irwin <[email protected]<mailto:[email protected]>> wrote: Thanks,Terran. It's been a while since I've had to do a spine label configuration, but I might be able to spot the problem. I have tried changing the settings in both the Evergreen spine label set up and the Zebra printer settings, but nothing changes when I print. I can get it to work in the Zebra Designer 3 software, but not when I print spine labels directly from Evergreen. If anyone has set up this type of printer with Evergreen for spine labels before and has any advice, I would really appreciate it.
