OK, I can make the "I believe in God" noise too, but my "God" doesn't answer prayers or even hear them, my "God" is not omnipotent or omniscient. In fact far from knowing everything my "God" knows NOTHING, zero zilch nada goose egg, because my "God" has no memory. And my "God" has no will, and my "God" is not conscious and my "God" is no more intelligent than a sack full or rocks. But nevertheless I can make the "I believe in God" sound, and to do so all I have to do is be willing to twist the meaning of words into unrecognizable shapes.

You should read some good book in comparative theology. Jason Resh made a very good summary in a similar thread some time ago.
