I presume you ask me (John M)? If I can explain what I think, I am a poor
agnostic. (I am one anyway...) What I am asking about are statements of
fixed (detailed?) knowledge in topics we cannot know at all. (Could not
suppress my Adam-Eve joke with the spare rib).

Seriously: (and plagiarizing my wife's ideas) it is most likely that WE
(THE EARTH)* have been *colonized and fertilized to develop thinking(?)
folks. Maybe the dinos were eliminated because they diverted into just
eating and growing instead of developing their Socrates. To throw a big
rock (66M years ago) is an easy job to extinguish a miscreant from Earth.
Our 4Byo colonization is supervised by 'Zookeepers' we don't detect. We
don't really know what is their beef. What do they need from us and what is
a mistake committed by us that eliminates our existence. We think only
human.
But some "intelligence" should be applied - as we hope today, for our own
benefit - with a content we think we can comprehend (sort of).
YOU (anybody) cannot know what WAS before such 'colonization' and what
transpired into us (the Earth). Not even what IS in distances and systems
we cannot penetrate. We just should be happy in our ignorance.

Did I come close?
