I have some comments on EPI in my book Theory of Nothing, in connection with how it fits into an ensemble theory everything.
You can download a copy from my website. EPI is one of those brilliant ideas that must be piece of the puzzle, yet nobody really quite knows what to make of it. Possibly because so anti the "Aristotelian paradigm", as Bruno Marchal would call it.
