QM, as the understood was incomplete, for it wasn't acknowledged that there as an infinity of simultaneously existing states all of which persisted after measurement. It was assuming that measurement somehow changed things and made states disappear and do so faster than light which EPR authors couldn't swallow. Their intuition proved correct, there are no FTL influences.
