The PKG_CONFIG_PATH is useless during runtime. Your built packages are installed in /usr/local/ (from the above warning). Can you export LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/usr/local/lib:/usr/lib/:$LD_LIBRARY_PATH and then run Evolution?
