If you close Evolution and uninstall the package evolution, Evolution related processes are not necessarily stopped from running. You might try to delete opened files. Juts for testing purpose add a new user and run Evolution there. Maybe you misunderstand that uninstalling the evolution package doesn't uninstall the evolution-data-server package, since evolution is just a suggested dependency of evolution-data-server. https://packages.ubuntu.com/focal-updates/evolution-data-server The Evolution related Debian/Ubuntu packages are evolution evolution-common evolution-dev evolution-plugin-bogofilter evolution-plugin-pstimport evolution-plugin-spamassassin evolution-plugins evolution-plugins-experimental libevolution https://tracker.debian.org/pkg/evolution assuming you don't have debug packages installed. _______________________________________________ evolution-list mailing list evolution-list@gnome.org To change your list options or unsubscribe, visit ... https://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/evolution-list
