Selfish? maybe.
This misses the point. If the end user can run the same app on windows and linux, and we chip away at the app base for windows-only, then the switch is easier... You: Um boss I want to switch everyone over to linux Boss: Won't they have to learn new apps, throw out old data and have lots of help questions? a) You: Why no, since we switched then to Evolution/Open Office, there will be no issue. Now we can get rid of theose annoying blue screens and aal probing lisence agreements. b) Yes, but.... Evolutin has most of the same features as Out Look and so does Open Office, but once they made the switch and the help desk calls go down, we will be much better off. While b is true, it is a tough sell. a) is much easier. -- Zot O'Connor http://www.ZotConsulting.com http://www.WhiteKnightHackers.com _______________________________________________ evolution maillist - [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://lists.ximian.com/mailman/listinfo/evolution
