ack -- I can confirm this for Evolution 1.0.8 and 1.2.0

I just killed the network and tried to close Evolution afterwards. The
exiting window saying "Evolution is now exiting" didnt disappear. killev
was necessary...

Just for findig and confirming bugs -- Evolution is great and I am
looking forward to the Gnome2 port.

(btw: my sig is broken due to Evo 1.0.8 -- in 1.2.0 its only 3 lines w/o
breaking at 72 chars. I will update this machine the next days...)
