I  have a formula which sums all the visible cells in an autofilter based on
the criteria which is a string . say for example if the string is "Yorkie"
then it sums up all the sales which has product  yorkie. i need to modify
the formula in such a way that it should sum up all the rows which has
product name " Yorkie * " .i.e   ""  *  ""  i.e in vba means any number of
criteria .

    i need to do something like this in excel formula .

 i have attached a excel file which has product list in A column . and data
in column c and d .
