Hi All, I ahve been setting up Exchange servers now since 1998. I would like to think I have seen it all but this one has me baffled. When I setup Exchange 2003 on a client of mine's network, I started getting these events:
Event ID: 1013 Soyrce: SBCORE This computer must be configured as a domain controller. To prevent this computer from shutting down in the future, run Setup on the disk that you used to install the operating system to configure the computer as a domain controller. Ok there is like no information ANYWHERE about this. Why does my Exchange 2003 server have to be setup as a DC? That is perposterous since there is an entire network Architecture already in place. Anyone have any earthly ideas on why the server shuts down every 60 minutes because it states its not a DC? This is a Windows 2003 Small Business Server Running Exchange 2003 Small Business Edition in case that makes no sense. Any suggestions would be awesome. -Timothy _________________________________________________________________ List posting FAQ: http://www.swinc.com/resource/exch_faq.htm Web Interface: http://intm-dl.sparklist.com/cgi-bin/lyris.pl?enter=exchange&text_mode=&lang=english To unsubscribe: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Exchange List admin: [EMAIL PROTECTED] To unsubscribe via postal mail, please contact us at: Jupitermedia Corp.
