On the surface of it, no. Is this remote site a separate domain? If not, its unlikely that DC is holding any FSMO roles. If so, wouldn't you consider having a secondary DC? X2K running on a DC isn't as big a drama as it used to be. You'd probably want that DC to be a GC to, considering it's a remote site.
