Has the Deleted Item Retention been enabled on the server all along (how
many days worth?) or did you just enable it?

With DumpsterAlwaysOn=1, are you selecting the Calendar folder first and
then clicking on Tools/Recover Deleted Items? (that's what you should be
doing)

Empty Deleted Items Folder has been ran. When Recovery Deleted Items is
activated, no calendar items appear.

None of the items are in the archive file.

Again, the exec says he ran archive when Outlook 2000 prompted him. I
checked and found his archive was set to 12 months.

Baffling.

I have also seen misconfigured Palm software use the Palm as the "master"
and wipe all information out of Outlook's calendar. Look in deleted items
for the last items if this is the case.

This may sound like an obvious question but...

...has he looked in the archive.pst (or whatever his is named) file?

Did he have autoarchive set to archive or delete old items?

Exec ran archive when Outlook 2000 prompted him. His archive was set to 12
months.

Now all calendar entries, except recurring ones, that are more than two
weeks are gone.

Also, he has a Tungsten.

Please advise.

TIA

Orin
