Has the Deleted Item Retention been enabled on the server all along (how many days worth?) or did you just enable it?
With DumpsterAlwaysOn=1, are you selecting the Calendar folder first and then clicking on Tools/Recover Deleted Items? When Recovery Deleted Items is activated, no calendar items appear. None of the items are in the archive file. Again, the exec says he ran archive when Outlook 2000 prompted him.
