I've never used the server edition, but I bought a couple of licenses for
the desktop edition (when they were constantly claiming that the *only* sane
way to catch spam was at the client). It seemed to work OK for a while, but
then it seemed to start to crash more often, run more slowly and catch less
SPAM. Their advertised "Mainframe-class tech support" really didn't
impress me either. But maybe I'm being unfair and the definition of that
term really is "look up the _special_ uninstall instructions to uninstall,
download the latest patch and reinstall".

After almost a year of this, I started getting emails saying that my
"subscription" for the product had expired, and, in effect, I would have to
buy it again for another year (and I guess again for the next, and the
next...). I bagged it and replaced it with the free "SpamBayes" which
functions really well for us.

After I get this Exchange 203 server in, I am going to try a
Freebsd/spamassasin/etc. etc. process.

  But that's just me.

Subject: "IhateSpam" Server

Is anyone running Sunbelt's "IhateSpam" server or gateway edition for
Exchange?
If so, how's its performance, reliability and vendor support?
Would you recommend it over open-source solutions such as SpamAssassin or
MailScanner and why?

Thanks
