If you have AD permissions assign yourself Full permission to his mailbox (or ask the AD admin to do it). Then in outlook right click your mailbox and go into properties. Click Advanced, then select the advanced tab. Add the other mailbox (may take 10 to 15 minutes for permissions to go through). You can then access his mailbox from your folder list. I usually then choose File Export and export it to a PST file for archival purposes.
We use this procedure whenever there is a "Legal" issue related to an employees online activities.
