Only temporary - use a PC!  You'd be moving them back after you fixed the
underlying problem.

No errors in event logs. No services stop running according to them.
Store goes to 100 percent cpu. Exchange stops. All services appear or
are reported running. Ran eseutil on db's. Priv is only 8.2gb pub is 1.2
gb. Plenty of room on mirrored drives.

Eseutil ran fine on pub.edb only light corruption (lv) said it was ok.
Priv.edb stops running eseutil and then reports corruption.
Second server option customer does not want to pay for. Only 15 boxes on
this server but they want the data!!

Hi I  have a nt 4.0 sp6 server running 5.5 sp4 with a corrupt priv.edb.

Brings the server down every 3-4 hours with store.exe at 100 percent
cpu.

No back ups are at hand!! I'm going to exmerge all mail boxes stop the
exchange server Delete the priv.edb start the exchange server it should
create a new priv.edb (right) and then Exmerge all the data back in.

Does this sound good.  When I delete the old priv.edb does this delete
all inboxes also or should I do this manually and then recreate all
inboxes.

I know I should also remove the log files. Can anyone give me the exact
names and folders of these Logs that Should be removed?!

Any suggestions greatly appreciated.
