Tell them as a test bed you'll start by moving all their
application/file servers to VM's. See how long that lasts. Or just
plain tell them you already moved all your servers to VM's and dare them
to prove the difference. Engineers...HA!

Why on earth would anyone want to run a production server like Exchange
in a
VM?
I'm speechless. Just speechless.

Subject: Engineering argument

Our engineering guys (who have no email experience at all) are trying to
make the argument that we should move our Exchange environment to
Vmware. I
know that Vmware is good for test labs, but has anyone run it in
production?
Their website says that it works with Exchange, but they want to sell
their
product. Please let me know if you have any horror stories or fairy
tales
about that configuration.

Thanks.

Tara
