DNS? WINS? Both of these things could casue serious slowdowns if one or the
other are pointing to the wrong IP address.

Should we assume that all of these *slow* clients were working at top speed
before the internet circuit was upgraded?

Subject: Exch 5.5 extremely slow

Hi All,

I have a client running Exch 5.5 on a Win2K server SP4. They have 3 remote
offices and their headwuarters. Just upgraded their remote office to T1
lines, 2 of the offices are working fine (connecting to exchange and all).
At the 3rd office, outlook is extremely slow on all the machines. We've had
the T1 provider check for latency and all, all to no avail, they said, all
is working fine. The weird thing is that they have a file server at that
location, when I configure outlook to connect to exchange, it works great
and fast, all of the other workstations are extremely slow, I mean really
slow. 've tried everything and can't figure out why this is happening. Any
pointers to what to look for would be greatly appreciated.

TIS,

-Thomas
