It should not interfere. Just give it a new name. If you do the move mailbox thing leave the old server up for a week or so. That way when people start up outlook they will get to the new server without needing to modify there profile.

I was going to try to exmerge mailboxes then import them into the new server. Also, I thought that I could not put new server with same name in because of the different sids.
