When you run rpcdiag does it show Outlook connecting over HTTP(s)?
Is the machine you are running Outlook on part of the domain? If so you
may be having problems with the authentication level. Have a look at

SSL is a must , do you have a certificate installed to the default
website of your RPC virtual directory? is it the RPC virtula directory

I've been trying to implement RPC over HTTP on a single domain
controller
via KB 833401.  Everything appears to be set up correctly per the KB and
I
can "visit the rpc virtual directory" however when I run Outlook with
the
/rpcdiag switch, I am only prompted numerous time to supply my remote
username/pwd as well as my local username/pwd.

Has anyone successfully set this up and can you offer any advice as to
where to look next?
