I've written a script to disable and enable the interfaces 10 minutes after bootup. The pipelining issue can happen on DL's as well. I install that registry change on all my servers now - I've experienced it on DL/320's, DL/360's, and DL/380's; as well as Dell servers - but only when I create an SMTP connector to another Exchange server.
