I am doing all of this on the server and yes it does find the contact
when I do a search, but when I go to ADUC on the server and to the
persons mailbox that I want to set up the forwarding on and do
properties/Exchange General/Delivery Options/Forward to/Modify/put in
the alias and check name / doesn't find the entry I put in FQDN but
still can't resolve to the contact went to advanced and still can't find
the contact I created in ADUC. But if I do a search for this it shows
up. Or if I go to a client machine and add a recipient and choose
contacts it shows up in the list. Anyone seen this before ??

Do a search in the ADUC.
Click the Exchange Tab and search for Exch recipients who are contacts
and see if it finds it.

All I am trying to set up a contact that I can use to forward messages
to another account. I have done a new contact in ADUC on the exchange
server and have mail enabled the contact but when I try and check name
for the contact I created to forward mail to. It can not find the mail
enabled contact what am I missing ??

 Exchange 2003 SP1,  It is like it is hidden from the address book but I
checked the properties and it is not hidden,  But when I pull up the
server contacts on a client machine it is there....
