Sorry missed the bit in the thread where you changed from dynamic to
static ;-).

Lets ignore the RBL lists for a bit...

Assuming we are talking about mail sent from mail.jetproducts.com using
the ip address 67.94.79.66 , By using www.dnsstuff.com is see there is
no PTR record for mail.

http://www.dnsstuff.com/tools/ptr.ch?ip=67.94.79.66
Location: United States [City: San Diego, California]

Preparation:
The reverse DNS entry for an IP is found by reversing the IP, adding it
to "in-addr.arpa", and looking up the PTR record.
So, the reverse DNS entry for 67.94.79.66 is found by looking up the PTR
record for
 66.79.94.67.in-addr.arpa.
All DNS requests start by asking the root servers, and they let us know
what to do next.
See How Reverse DNS Lookups Work for more information.

How I am searching:
Asking i.root-servers.net for 66.79.94.67.in-addr.arpa PTR record:
i.root-servers.net says to go to dill.arin.net. (zone:
67.in-addr.arpa.)
Asking dill.arin.net. for 66.79.94.67.in-addr.arpa PTR record:
dill.arin.net [192.35.51.32] says to go to NS2.XO.COM. (zone:
94.67.in-addr.arpa.)
Asking NS2.XO.COM. for 66.79.94.67.in-addr.arpa PTR record: Reports
ip67-94-79-66.z79-94-67.customer.algx.net. [from 207.155.252.16]

Answer:
67.94.79.66 PTR record: ip67-94-79-66.z79-94-67.customer.algx.net. [TTL
10800s] [A=67.94.79.66]

I understand yahoo requires a PTR for the mail sender.
So get your ISP to add a PTR record for mail.jetproducts.com against
66.79.94.67 or relay via your ISP

see the bottom of

http://www.webmasterworld.com/forum22/3783.htm

cheers

Dean

We have a static IP. Should I try to contact yahoo.com administrator and
ask them to allow our e-mail to go through. What are my options?

Get a static IP.
You are sharing that IP range with people that SPAM (or have zombies
unknown to them that spam or relay) Talk to the xoxo people who I assume
are your ISP?
http://www.dnsstuff.com/tools/whois.ch?ip=67.94.79.66%20&email=on

Perhaps they have a SMTP server you can relay via that is not
blacklisted?

Tony:
According to SamSpade, your IP is listed on several blackhole lists --

That's the problem then.
Yahoo will be just the start. AOL will be next, followed by an
increasing number of other sites.

The SMTP Connector is the only solution. I now put these in as default
for all client installations I do where they are on a DSL and/or dynamic
IP address.

Simon.

Are you on a dynamic IP address or a DSL Connection to the internet?
If so you are on a loosing battle. You will be on the dynamic IP address
blacklists and not one of the service providers will remove you from
those lists. They don't believe that you should be trying to deliver
email directly but should be using your ISPs SMTP server.

Try putting your external IP address in to this site: http://rbls.org/

Otherwise concede defeat and create an SMTP Connector to send email for
Yahoo via your ISP's SMTP server.

It reads like your IP address is blacklisted. You should look into the
RBL lists to see if you're there, and take the steps to correct the
problem if you are.

Post the exact message.

I'm suspicious that you're either blacklisted or don't have a valid PTR
record.
