The quickest way that I know is to:
1. Open a new message in Outlook.
2. Enter the Distribution Group address in the address field and resolve it.
3. "Expand" the list to display in the address field by clicking the +
to the left of the DistGroup name.
-- This will pop up a window that tells you that once you do this
you cannot reverse it.
4. Click OK to show all of the email addresses like this:
Mary Smith; John Jones; Sam Spade; Santa Claus
5. Copy the list into Word (it doesn't work well in Excel)
6. Search and replace the address separators (; ) with a manual line
break (^|), so that the list displays like this:
Mary Smith
John Jones
Sam Spade
Santa Claus
Now you can copy this list into Excel or other applications you need.
