Subject: ADC connector and removing E5.5

Greetings!

I got thrown into a project at the last minute while a client's IT
person is on maternity leave.....

They have a Win 2000 SP 4 DC with Exchange 5.5 on it that I'm replacing
with a 2003 DC with Exchange 2003.

She has the ADC installed, but no agreements setup. Client has about 45
users that get their mail via POP3.

I'm just going to do a quick migration and exmerge their mail out of
Ex5.5 and into the 2003 server, bypassing the ADC. They will be visiting
the desktops to install some other stuff, including Outlook 2003, so
they'll update the client config manually. I've got the new server in
the domain, and Exchange is installed. Users in ADUC have not been mail
enabled yet.

My question is that once I'm done, can I just remove the ADC from
Add\Remove Programs, then remove Exchange on it without having to do
anything else (Exchange related)? From there, I'll properly decommission
the DC. But I want to make sure I'm not missing any steps.

Thanks!
