We have deployed the Microsoft Identity Integration Server 2003 between to foreign Exchange 2003 systems and are very pleased with the results. Except ... if one side is running Mailbox Manager, it creates the MBX=0 attribute and the MIIS sees this as a conflict/duplication and will not allow the mailboxes to be converted to contacts and pushed to the other side. To get the GalSync to work, we had to turn off the Mailbox Manager, delete the rules and edit the email address tabs for all the accounts the Mailbox Manager was applied to. Once this was done, the MIIS was happy and everything worked. Now, the MIIS is free so I guess you get what you pay for, but has anyone else ran into this and how did you resolve it?
