I have a couple of questions concerning Exchange 2003 and ActiveSync that I
hope someone can shed some light on.

First is when utilizing the mobileadmin tool and you type in the name of a user
and it displays "Device ID", "Type", "Last Sync", etc. where is the device ID
gotten from? Does the device ID in any way tie back to the actual device? The
reason I ask this is, when I ran the mobileadmin tool against my account it
showed two completely different devices actively syncing with my account ...
does this mean someone else is accessing my mailbox?

Secondly, it states we can turn off ActiveSync at the global level and it also
states that the services can be turned on\off for each user as desired. I would
think the service would have to be "on" at the global level and then turned
on\off at the user level as desired. Yes\no?

Lastly, if ActiveSync for all users as default and we want to turn it off for
all users and back on only for selected users, do you have to go to each and
every users account and turn it off or is there a way of "mass applying"
turning off the service?

Thanks in advance for any words of wisdom.
