Hey Folks,

You folks have been excellent about steering me in the right direction
during this NT4.0/Ex5.5 --> AD2003/E2k3 migration. Everything has
gone fairly smoothly and most of the kinks have been worked out of the
system. However, I have one last question that I was wondering if
anyone could/would help me with.

Yesterday, I figured out how to do an import of all the Contacts from
a certain company...11,053 of them to be exact. They all look good in
the AD, they're in the correct OU, and they're all formatted the way I
want them. However, I've hit one little snag.

In order for a customer to see that Contact in the GAL, I have to
validate the e-mail address first. Is there a way to do a mass e-mail
address validation, either as part of the import process or after I
get them imported?? If I select them all and select the Exchange
Tasks option, the Validate option doesn't come up...just the Delete
Address option.

Currently, I have to highlight one Contact, select "Exchange
Tasks...", select "Validate E-mail Address", click Next twice and
Finish once. There's no way I have time to do this for 11,000+
Contacts, one at a time.

If anyone can help me with this, I would appreciate it. I have two
more Contact list imports to go, both of which are twice this size.

Environment: AD2003 Native / Exchange 2003 Native
Hardware: 1 FE, 1 BE, 1 SMTP/Encryption/Index Server

Thanks,

Jim Blunt
