Or with Exchange 2007 SP1 you can have SCR, which gives you pretty much all
the benefits of CCR without the clusters.

Hi Pete,
You can do that today as long as both sites are on the same subnet.
Otherwise you'll have to wait until Longhorn (Windows Server 2008) to use
CCR across subnets.

Subject: Exchange 2007 and Cluster Continuous Replication

I know that is not out yet but the CCR for 2007 really caught my interest.
If I read this right it sounds as if we can have passive clusters located
off-site as long as the speed is adequate for the log/replication to occur.
Here in Cincinnati we already have a DR site located up at Ohio State which
houses a backup DC and GC. I'm thinking that we could deploy the passive
cluster servers up at Ohio State with internal raid-5 disks and use the CCR
for replication so if our datacenter takes a full hit we could then run off
passive clusters located off site.

I guess bandwidth is a big issue. Anyone have any similar thoughts or
comments?
