Whether or not you should use file virus scanners on your groupware servers
depends upon your networking architecture.
If you have a web server installed on your groupware server, use network
shares, or use removable storage media on the server, then you should be
using file AV protection in addition to your groupware AV solution.
However, conflicts can arise if the file scanning software is not properly
configured to exclude groupware resources, so it is advisable to thoroughly
consult your product documentation (including readme's :-) ).  If you then
have any further questions or concerns, you should contact your vendor's
support representative.
